Rummy-Nose Tetra

Family: Characidae

Species: Hemigrammus rhodostomus

Size: 5cm (2 inches)

Diet: omnivorous

Tank levels: Middle and lower

Habitat: Amazon less

Comments: It 'sensitive to changes of water.

Comments: The peculiarity of this subtle body Tetra is the red head strikestail fin is also shaken. The red zone is limited to the head in the rummy-nose tetra, but many, like a body blow on the same georgiae False Rummy-nose (Petitella be extended). The caudal fin is marked with a (juvenile weak on this one) by three black bars, and tips flaps are colorless. A thin, black, often indistinct, running on the front line from the base of the tail fin against the base of the dorsal fin.
